For sale, an antique Baroque violin from 1700 by the luthier Antonium Nicolas (father of the most known Didier Nicolas) in the famous lute-making town of Mirecourt (France). The neck is original and fixed internally with three pegs, as per tradition. The violin has a beautiful sound, with a strong presence and is rich of harmonics. The paint is original, a beautiful amber colour. The strings are professional, made in Italy, by Aquilacorde. The instrument is for sale at a lower price than its real value. Of course, being antique, the violin has signs of wear and some woodworm hole (fixed). An effective woodworm treatment was made.
