Exempt single barrel shotgun, bolt system, caliber 12, central fire, black powder. Originally a French military bullet rifle type Gras (France), but in Liège (Belgium) converted into a shotgun. The barrel was replaced by a hail barrel, bolt and bolt house have been modified and changed. Furthermore a more luxurious made beech butt was mounted with a “French grip” and a simple quadrillage. The conversion to shotgun was, having regard to the Belgian Liège marks, performed between 1898 and 1924. The rifle is equipped with a large number of interesting quality marks and has a military-looking hand-latch system. The rifle is only approved for black powder. The rifle was fully verified by a Dutch weapon master and found in order. A small point of attention is the connection of the hole/pen of the front wood. After the inspection, an official exemption evidence was laid out. This exemption comes with the weapon. The shipment and free transfer of the weapon in the Netherlands, Belgium and France is free.
