Vintage professional tenor sax by Borgani Macerata, Italy. Handmade in 1961 by the award-winning company Orfeo Borgani, brass bell finely engraved by hand by the craftsmen of Macerata. Restored at the company in Macerata at a cost of €450 with the addition of movable hook support for the right thumb, stripped and polished, with a truly vintage sound. The sax is model Balance Selmer with double key B and Bb, silver keys in perfect condition. On the original neck is engraved the serial no. 72 corresponding to the sax 5572; on the shaft are three rings to adjust the coupling system to the sax, the neck is welded and with original brass reinforcement, the sax was built following the model of Balance and Mark 6 by Selmer.
