Beautiful vase by the ceramist Charles Grèber (Beauvais, 1853-1935) The vase is made of stoneware and has a beautiful green, slightly flamed glaze Striking is the simplicity of the design and the way in which the handles were attached slightly differently Charles Grèber was best known for his invention of a flamed glaze which was applied to stoneware vases He has had international success with that and won several awards for it In Musée d'Oise you can still see some of his vases The vase is well signed at the bottom, with (relief) stamp and signature Condition: - Small chip on the bottom edge Measurements: - Height: 26 cm - Diameter neck: 8 cm - Diameter base: 8 cm Weight: - 1353 grams Shipment: Registered, insured and well packaged
