Description: A few special bookends and a letter holder made in the Netherlands in the 1960s by Pilastro. Both the bookends and the letter holder are made of white perforated metal to which a black doll of wire steel is attached. The dolls of the bookends have a harp in their hands and the doll of the letter holder is reading a book (see photos). The round heads of the dolls are made of wood on which a face is painted with white paint. These dolls are scarce nowadays and fit well with the metal bookshelves of Pilastro and Tomado.
