Already in the former Soviet Union her works were presented in numerous exhibitions. She is very popular in Germany and represented there by one of the largerst German gallery. Elena Lobanowa uses different materials and techniques in her art to achieve the highest level of expressiveness. With her stunning, mostly oversized portraits of icons and cult figures she breaks new ground. Exhibitions in London and New York - including at the Art Expo - underscore the artist's ongoing success.
