Pewter pilgrim badge depicting Madonna and child and surmounted by two crosses, with four simple interstitial arches for sewing and with a criss-cross pattern to reverse.
Pilgrims would have worn these badges on their hat or cloak, for keepsake to show which pilgrimage they had made.
One cross is missing with an even black patina and good detail.
