Self construction 1 - Static scale model of the ‘Arend’ [Eagle] Special scale model of the ‘Arend’, or the very first Dutch locomotive from 1939, of which the Spoorwegmuseum in Utrecht has a replica. Made of metal, brass, wood and some details (buffers and stoker) of plastic. The locomotive and tender come on a wooden pedestal with a piece of track with a realistic profile (small track bars, early 19th century) The boiler is lined with wooden trellis with the dom and other parts of brass. Chimney made of metal with copper-coloured end. It is a static model in 1:33, track 1 (1:32). With fun details like blind rivets. The black-coloured parts were spray-painted and the smaller details and green tender bake were painted. This is a static model without a drive. Unique self-construction model. Builder unknown to us.
