Van Boeckel Lodewijk ( Louis ) Lier : 16 January 1857 - 6 July 1944) : was a Belgian art smith. around 1900, after several international awards he stood at the top of the art forging. For example, he did the railings around the White House, and also around the national bank of Athens. He also designed and created several cathedral gates for different countries in South America, outside his other works of art.
