Frisian tuoli Clock - Puu - 1700-1749
Beautiful, original, antique Frisian bracket clock from the first half of the 18th century with original paint.
This clock is in good condition. The timepiece is of heavy quality and functions well.
The top piece depicts a female figure with children, flanked by two crowned lions.
On both sides of the dial are lead decorations with crowned lions. This is fairly unusual and rare.
The bracket is authentically painted and with mermaids.
The dial is in good condition, no peeling paint or coarse damage, although it has yellowed somewhat over the years (approx. 250 years), which suits a clock of this age.
The timepiece is a verge escapement timepiece with a striking mechanism on the full and half hours, it is a 30-hour timepiece, which, depending on the suspension height of the clock, will have to be wound one or more times a day.
The timepiece is in a good condition and has recently been ultrasonically cleaned, checked and serviced, therefore, it runs and strikes as it should.

Due to the fragility of this lot, pick up only. Shipping is possible in consultation but, given the vulnerability of the clock, certainly not preferred.
