Suuri kristalli maljakko - paavi Johannes Paavali II - 1 - Kristalli
Large-size, heavy, hand-polished crystal case with portrait of Pope John Paul II in amber colour.
Central at the back is the Star of Bethlehem with IX monogram.
The IX monogram or XI monogram is a sort of early-Christian monogram resembling the spokes of a wheel, sometimes within a circle.
The IX monogram is formed by the combination of the letter "I" or Iota for IHSOYS (Ιησους, Jesus in Greek) and "X" or Chi for XPISTOS (Χριστος, Christus in Greek).
Pope John Paul II, Latin: Ioannes Paulus PP. II, born as Karol Józef Wojtyła (Wadowice, 18 May 1920 – Vatican City, 2 April 2005), was a Polish priest who became archbishop and cardinal and was eventually elected 264th pope of the Roman-Catholic church on 16 October 1978. He was the successor of John Paul I, who suddenly died after a short pontificate (33 days). As a pope, he also was sovereign of Vatican City as well as bishop of Rome.
