Yellow red copper Samovar in very good condition.
Very decorative, operation not tested.
Good condition, normal signs of wear (small dents in the main boiler).
All components are there.
In Russia, the Samovar was used for making tea and cooking water.
The Samovar is originally from Russia and was used for preparing zavarka.
A heated tube or cylinder runs through the middle of the Samovar and thus keeps the water in the container warm.
The tube can be filled at the bottom with different types of fuel such as coal or charcoal.
On the side of the Samovar there is a tap through which hot water ran out of the container that is heated by the tube.
From the tea pot which stood on top of the Samovar, the concentrated tea (tea extract) zavarka could then be removed and combined with the warm water.
