The Petri FT II is a 35mm film SLR camera from Petri released in 1971. Kuribayashi, later Petri, was a Japanese camera maker wich bankarupt in 1977. Because of that there is a growing interest among collectors for Petri cameras and lenses (same things happened to ZUNOW products 10 years ago). ----------------------------------------- The item is in very good overall condition but since this has never been serviced read in the descriptions every single minor imperfection you may find. CAMERA: Shutter works at every speed. Autoshot clock works perfectly. Automatic aperture works perfectly. Minimal dust in the viewfinder. The viewfinder mechanism has very high quality and allow a very precise focusing. Some visible signs of time on the body. Camera mount block need to be recalibrated to be more solid. ------------------------------------------------------ LENS: Glass is clear and clean: NO haze NO fungus NO scratches NO separation. Aperture clean and free from oil. Focusing ring is smooth but might need 2 drops of lubricate in one point to remove speck of dust/dirt.
