A beautiful large bowie knife made by Franklin Mint entitled: American Eagle Bowie Knife. This knife was designed by Ronald van Ruyckevelt. This richly detailed knife is elegantly mounted onto a fine wooden display frame which can be hung on a wall. The knife is held in place by a magnet and a turning knob. It can easily be removed from the display case. The blade is made of stainless steel and has a protective coating to prevent stains. It is adorned with two 24 carat gold eagles. The complete fender and the pommel are also 24 carat gold plated as is the surround for the painted eagle in the knife handle. Length of the dagger is 38 cm (15") Display frame is 53 cm (20.5") wide by 26 cm (10") high. The Bowie knife and the display are in very good condition
