On offer is a gorgeous 100 Years Historical Fountain Pen released as a Limited Edition of 15000 pens in 2006. It was designed and marketed to be a modern retake of the original Simplo Rouge et Noire safety filler of 1908. The retractable mechanism of the nib is fascinating - the nib gets exposed and covered by the sleeve that slides in and out of the bulbous part of the barrel. The system is very easy to operate and more intuitive than traditional retractable safety pens. The nib is an 18-carat single tone yellow gold; not too large, but proportional to the size of the pen with a snowcap-shaped breather hole. Includes original packaging and documentation.
