2012 Château Hennebelle , Haut-Médoc A family estate of 11 ha of vineyards, and winemakers from father to son for five generations, who have brought their expertise and given their wines an increasing quality over time. His Haut-Médoc 2012 is excellent, well typed, structured, elegant, with dense tannins, with scents of blackberry and musk. Its terroir, composed of gravelly soil, gives the wine its bouquet, its mellowness and its great finesse. The encépagement consists of: 50% Merlot 40% Cabernet Sauvignon 5% Cabernet Franc 5% of Petit Verdot At their optimum maturity, special attention is paid to harvesting the crop. After monitoring the fermentations, the new wine is withdrawn after two to three weeks of maceration. The aging takes place in oak barrels and ends with bottling after two years of aging.
