Sandeman, "The Don", beautifully signed statue of the well-known port and sherry brand Sandeman. For more than eighty years, the Don has been the figurehead of this brand. Although Sandeman is based in Porto, Portugal it has been an English firm since 1720. The statue is signed at the back. Mc Cloud. I'm not entirely sure of the material, the foot is ceramics, the statue also seems ceramic but can also be plaster. The statue is in good condition, a slight damage on a corner of the pedestal (see final photo). Height 38 cm. Weight 2860 g. A very decorative statue for any interior.
