Arnhem Artist Edith van der Wissel. Born in Wassenaar on 14th February, 1944. Beautiful, dreamily painted painting in excellent condition, painting has a beautiful matching, heavy frame. Dimensions canvas 90 x 70 cm , with frame 112 x 92 cm. From the 1970s, she started making oil paintings and exhibited in Arnhem and in various cities in the Netherlands. Her oeuvre is versatile and includes subjects such as humans, animals, flower still lifes and landscapes. She painted what appeals to her, realistic and in a recognizable style, sometimes with coarse brush strokes depending on the subject, then again very finely painted. She painted for famous art dealers such as, Rembrandt Utrecht, Dutch Art, the Schildercamer and others. Her paintings mainly went to America, Belgium and Germany.
