It is a low-impedance dynamic microphone with strong sound and impressive resonance. It will play greatly on any transistor amp and an impedance matching connector such as Shure A85F is recommended for use with a tube amp. The sound then will be incredibly strong and will have a honk and volume much surpassing the size of the mic. The small diameter allows hermetic cupping in your hands for sound distortion.
