Two beautiful hand-carved and hand-painted wooden horses from Rajasthan, India. In a traditional wedding ceremony the bride arrives on a lavishly decorated horse, and the groom's family will give a gift of a replica horse to the bride's family as part of the dowry. These pieces are in amazing condition for their age - and probably date from the mid 1960s. Rare and highly decorative! Condition: Good. Some minor wear of the paintwork.
