Beautiful 'Lampe Belge' from the famous Liège factory 'Les Établissements Lempereur & Bernard'. The lamp is beautifully decorated with floral motifs. This lamp is in excellent, original condition. The crown and the burner head are complete, with lamp cotton. The lamp glass is original Belgica D.F glassware. Inscription at the bottom: 'Lampe Belge, Brevetté, L&B, 1883' Dimensions: height with the glass is 45 cm. Diameter: 16 cm. Les Établissements Lempereur & Bernard was founded in 1867 by Joseph Lempereur and his brother-in-law Lambert Bernard in Herstal near Liège, Belgium. The company started with the production of miner's lamps, but the success product became the Belgian Lamp, for which the trademark was already registered in 1883.
