SWM RS GS 250 cc from 1978. Preserved in its first original paint. The chassis still shows the Columbus sticker. With a nice patina and some signs of ageing. Tank in excellent condition inside and in fair condition outside (considering the paint). As you will notice, this bike was never used in off-road races on a professional level; the fork sheaths show a few signs, as well as the lower cradle of the frame. Rotax short race engine - connoisseurs knows it very well. In quite good cosmetic condition, the black paint is intact, the SWM anti vibration tires are in good condition and the Castrol oil sticker is the original one (42 years old!). Lanfranconi muffler in excellent condition; the expansion chamber and the silencer have been modified to change the sound-absorbing material (this work was amazingly carried out). In perfect working order; recently restarted; Bing carburettor has been fully overhauled; the spark plug is new as well as the gasoline tube and other parts. It starts on the first try. Engine is in order and has excellent compression. Documents: It does not have any documents for use on public roads. It will be delivered with a statement of lawful provenance and purchase receipt issued by Catawiki. Flaws: The lighting system is not connected; the tank shows a small dent. Located in Milan, Italy.
