Vedett is a blond premium beer with 5.2% alcohol content. The brewery Duvel Moortgat made several premium beers in the 20th century, named Export beers. One of them, brewed since 1945, got the name Vedett in 1965. Initially, it is mainly successful in the local cafés in the immediate vicinity of the brewery. From 2003 onwards, the brewery activates and rejuvenates the marketing about the beer. Vedett Extra Blond conquers a more prominent place next to Duvel in the assortment. There are 3 different enamel advertising signs made for the Vedett beers (red, light blue and orange), all three with the same layout on a convex enamel plate and the lettering in light relief.
