MMC 20 S cartridge, retipped with elliptical needle, so identical to the MMC20E. All moving parts were replaced, so also the mounting rubbers of the rod which has the (new) needle tip. These rubber parts have hardened over time for not retipped cartridges (40 years or more) and no longer meet the requirements for good sound. The needle tip is diamond, and elliptically cut. The revision was done by FJS Germany, the retipping specialist for B&O cartridges. Replaces: SP 15 MMC10E MMC20E MMC20EN MMC20CL MMC3000 MMC4000 MMC5000 MMC 6000 etc. see casing. A costly item, but a good investment for your record player, approx. 2000 playing hours.
