According to the sticker under the saddle, this original Dutch BMW had a service about 1,500 km ago. That was in 2004. After that, the bike was added to a collection and almost never used. After fitting a new battery and filling the tank with fresh petrol, it ran immediately and absolutely fine. It shifts like a modern bike and drives as such. Brakes, clutch, lights, gears, everything is okay. It sits wonderful due to the height of the handlebars. The satisfying grunt of the boxer engine is wonderful to hear. The engine does not whine or behave erratically. The passenger has enough space and a relaxed seating position. A fine motorbike with a stable value, it still has the original paint (and wheels). I don't think the bike has ever seen grit. The original set of on-board tools is still in the section under the saddle. The dampers are still the original ones and completely undamaged. The bike is in beautiful condition with normal wear, but less than what you would expect from a 34-year-old motorcycle.
