Dimensions of the gun: 12.5 x 6.5 x 4.5 cm The top rider measures 9.5 cm The Gribeauval system (12-pounder), developed in the 1760s, was a piece of artillery of great importance during the French Revolution and then the Napoleonic Wars. Because of its firepower it was decisive for winning or losing. It was so effective that it was also used on the battlefields of the Revolutionary War.
