There is an interesting inscription to the front endpaper. A humorous romp through the alphabet, with all sorts of savory & unsavory persons from the brilliant mind & pen of Edward Gorey representing each letter. Bound in the original paper covered boards. There is some wear to the edges, rubbed to corners and bumped. Spine slightly frayed. Contents: usual toning and spotting, but in very good condition for the age.
