Offering an engraved crystal, footed cordial decanter from the renowned St Louis Cristallerie of France. Extremely well preserved, engraved, St. Louis carafe from the the first half of the 20th century. Exquisitely decorated with engraved floral patterns. Unable to find the exact model in the catalogues, it most resembles the ‘’Thistle’’ model. The decanter is adorned by etches and cuttings, it is mouth blown in the shape of the classic St Louis shape which is used for models including including Tommy, Thistle, and Apollo. It is signed with the acid etched “Cristal St Louis, France” mark on the bottom. The neck of the bottle is marked ‘60’. Size: 32 cm. high (26 cm. bottle only) x 11cm in diameter. Good pre-owned condition. No chips, cracks or nicks on the bottle and the glass is clean and clear. The stopper is a solid cut and shows some wear.
