A multicolor archaic glass necklace beads from the ancient Khmer, Pre-Angkorian culture.
1st Millennium AD.
In good condition. It has been cleaned by hand, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, forming, dying and boring. The holes are ancient, hand-made, irregular. Each bead is different in form and size. Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased mid 90's in Phnom Penh by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
