He bases most of his paintings on musical themes and uses instruments as well as bodies to represent players and dancers which exist in the world of jazz and fantasy he is creating. He uses colours boldly to express feelings and emotions, and many times he paints an abstract background to his mostly figurative paintings. However, being that he believes that art is the “search” he continuously experiments and investigates new and different approaches to create paintings that truly communicate and transmit the message that he wishes to share. Besides his figurative work, he has developed a way to approach abstract art thinking it something spiritual, and almost meditative. Another aspect of his work is drawings, (illustration), which he does using various types of graphite and ink. These he does in series titled “JaZzArt” and the series is separated into phases. And although most are in black and white, some are of the phases are drawn with ink upon a colourful abstract background of watercolor. . Drawing will be shipped between two cardboards protected with acid free paper and wrapped outside with bubble. White base board and a black paspartú will also be included.
