The instrument is in an amazing ready to play condition with no cracks, good ebony set up, master made bridge and Pirastro strings. The violin has an excellent straight high grained spruce of the top and two pieces back of softly flamed maplewith matched sides. The purfling is professionally executed and the edges are masterfully done. The whole length of the violin is 560 mm and the back 340 mm.
