wonderfully Montblanc octogonal 585 Gold version
signed by Sarastro are among the most sought after pens.
It is made from Black Hard Rubber (BHR) with solid 585 gold overlay.
8 sided, Art Nouveau pattern.
This is said to be the original design
that inspired the Lorenzo Medicis Patron of Arts
Cap imprints : hallmarks for the 585 Gold version
The "S", signature for Sarastro.
No name engravings
Montblanc top white cap star vents holes on the cap.
Montblanc 14 k Montblanc 585 round hole nib.
Length 5 inches when cap is closed.
