Magnificent Art Nouveau extra large jardinniere , antique piece, made by Royal Dux Porzellan-Manufaktur, Bohemia - Czechoslovakia (today Czech Republic), in excellent condition. Dux Porcelain Manufactory was started in 1860 in Duchov, Bohemia by Edouard Eichler and is commonly referred to by its abbreviated name, Royal Dux. During the first World War, the letter E appeared in the center of the porcelain pink triangle to mark Royal Dux porcelain. The sculpture is in excellent condition, more to pristine, marked accordingly on the back of the base by the added over-glazed Dux dark pink triangle with “E” inside, impressed numbered #1224, NO chips, NO cracks and NO repairs, please see the pictures, as they are part of description.
