Fender stratocaster Usa made in 1979 in 3 tone sunburst with a one piece maple neck Guitar is all original except for a refinish of the headstock by a previous owner. Apparently the clear coat finish was falling apart and he decided to take it of and refinish it, he also used a original Fender repair logo and serial number that match the serial number underneath the pickguard. The headstock therefore looks a bit lighter than the rest of the neck.this has absolutely no impact kn the sound or playability. Nor has it impact in the value since all numbers which meed to ne there toake sure this is a origimal Fender Stratocaster 1979 usa made, Are There ! All other things like the electronics are completely original and untouched .check the potcodes too! All hardware is original, and of course the neck and body too. See all numbers on them. Guitar plays wonderful and frets are still very good, the sound is pure Fender it gets no better. Weight is 5 kilos and as Fender insiders know that was very common late seventies for the strat and tele guitars.
