The title of this kokeshi is a girl("Douzyo/童女"). It's created and signed by "Sekiguchi, Sansaku/関口三作" (1925-2018). He was a creative-style Kokeshi craftsman and designated a contemporary master craftsman by the country. In addition, among his many awards, the Medal with Yellow Ribbon(黄綬褒章) was an especially great award. His seal is stamped on the bottom of the kokeshi as "San-saku/三作", and there is also a signature written on the wooden tag.
