Lot of eight Ancient Roman coins. 1. Constantine the Great (333 - 335 AD). City Commemorative Follis. Obv: CONSTANTINOPOLIS, Laureate, helmeted and mantled bust of Constantinopolis left, holding sceptre over shoulder. Rev: Victory standing left, foot on the prow of a ship, holding sceptre and leaning on shield. Mintmark R-wreath-E. Rome mint. RIC VII 355. 2. Constantine the Great (337 - 340 AD). Posthumous Follis. Obv: DV CONSTANTINVS PT AVGG, Veiled head of Constantine right. Rev: Constantine in quadriga right, with the hand of God reaching down to him, star in upper field. Antioch mint. RIC VIII 37. 3. Theodosius I (383 - 392 AD). AE4. Obv: DN THEODOSIVS PF AVG, Pearl diademed, draped, cuirassed bust right. Rev: SALVS REIPVBLICAE, Victory walking left, trophy on shoulder, dragging captive behind her. Chi-Rho in left field. Mintmark ANTΔ. Antioch mint. RIC IX 67b. 4. Constantius II (324 - 361 AD). Follis. Obv: DN CONSTANTIVS PF AVG, Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev: FEL TEMP REPARATIO, Soldier spearing fallen horseman who is slumped forward, clutching the horse's neck. Lot of eight Ancient Roman coins.
