Here is a beautiful sharp salmon pink fluorite octahedron measuring 1.5 cm on edge and displaying a more intense pink-red core. Notice also the dodecahedrons truncations on the edges, outlined by a slightly different colour colour, of dark purple hue. This fluorite crystal sits nicely on a small piece of white protogine granite matrix. This specimen is as extracted from the cleft, with residual chlorite dusting, which could be removed through modern prepping means if needed. An alpine classic!
