Indus-kulttuuri Terrakotta Zebu Bulls (2) (Ei pohjahintaa)

Indus Valley Terracotta Zebu Bulls (2) Circa 3rd millennium BC A lovely pair of zebu bull idols, crafted from cream pottery. Each animal features an elongated body with a prominent back hump, supported by four short and sturdy legs. The crescent-shaped horns are rising from the bull's head. Additionally, black stripes adorn the horns and body. The Zebu bull is a domesticated cattle breed originating from the Indian subcontinent. This distinct breed is recognized for its unique physical characteristics, with a prominent hump over the shoulders and large, droopy ears. Zebu bulls typically exhibit a hump composed of fatty tissue, providing them with resilience in hot and arid climates, making them well-suited for various agricultural tasks. Cf.
