The Akari lamp, Isamu Noguchi's contribution to lighting design. A modern and artistic reinterpretation of the traditional craft of rice paper lanters from Asia. The lamps are still traditionally manufactured in Japan, but marketed worldwide by Vitra. This is the bigger 25N floor version, with 117cm in height. This version currently retails over 2.000€ depending on the country. The lamp is brand new in its box, distributor's stock. It was only opened for the pictures, but we refrained from completely assembling it. Combined shipment with other lots in this auction is offered for no extra cost. We pack with great care.
