Post-modern wooden Italian Memphis style clock designed by Giovanni Pirondini.

Operates on a Scholer Swiss made quartz clock.
Marked on the bottom with a sticker.
In a very good condition, minimal signs of age.
Clock works fine.

Pirondini was born in Cosio Valtellino in 1950, but has lived in Sondrio for years. He attended the Faculty of Architecture at the Milan Polytechnic.
His artistic activity is divided between painting and design, for the creation of refined furnishing objects. Painter always, he began to exhibit in collectives around 1970.
He has held personal exhibitions in Chiavenna (1983), at the Palazzo della Provincia di Sondrio (1984 and 1987), at the ethnographic museum Tiranese (1986-2010), at the PGI Ethnographic Gallery in Poschiavo (2000).
He has participated in important collective exhibitions including: Competition - Exhibition Lo Spluga and tunnels in Tirano, Sondrio and Palazzo Bagatti-Valsecch, Milan, Exhibition The figure and his shadow at Grosio, Collective exhibition of artists from twinned cities with Sindefingen in Sindelfingen, Traveling exhibition of poetry and graphics Engraved-signs cards in history in Sondrio and Chur, V biennial art and wine castle of Cisterna D'Asti
