Excellent Hungarian art deco ceramics. Hand painted with white glaze, moulded and hand made. The statue was designed by the famous Hungarian sculptor Árpád Turcsányi (1921-1998). The pedestal is signed by the artist Turcsányi. Beautiful condition.Not restored. The pictures are of the item offered and are part of the auction. Excellent condition. Safe transport. Dimensions: 30.5 x 6 x 5 cm. Árpád Turcsányi Between 1940-46 he began his studies at the School of Applied Arts, where his masters were Béla Ohmann, Dezső Erdey and József Reményi. Between 1946-49 he studied at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts under Pál Pátzay. 1947-50: head of the art circle of the Ganz Electricity Factory, taught pattern making. 1950-55: head of the art circle of the Csepel Works. Several of his small sculptures were bought by the Képcsarnok Company for reproduction. From 1947 he participated in group exhibitions. The pictures are of the items offered and are part of the auction. Securely packaged and traceable.
