Oddino Guarnieri (Adria, province of Rovigo, 04/09/1932 - Mestre, 13/12/2015). He began his artistic career as a self-taught painter since he was a teenager, also with the help of the painter Ugo Boccato, a family friend. After the Polesine flood in 1951 he moved to Venice, where he learned the profession of restorer with prof. Pedrocco. At the same time Guarnieri took part in painting courses with the masters Cadorin and Cesetti at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. He participated in the 1958 Premio Ramazzotti exhibition in Milan. In the same year he was mentioned by the critic Apollonio in the Bolaffi national catalogue of modern art. Some people who wrote about his works: Apollonio, Branzi, Budda, Cara, Guidi, Marchiori, Marussi, Minassian, Rizzi, Toniato, Valsecchi.
