Francien Krieg [1973] est un artiste néerlandais qui vit à la campagne au milieu des Pays-Bas. Elle y vit avec ses deux enfants et son mari et travaille à plein temps dans son atelier.
Elle est diplômée de l'Académie royale des beaux-arts de La Haye en 1998, obtenant un diplôme en art monumental, ce qui l'a amenée à réfléchir de manière conceptuelle et au cours duquel elle a découvert sa fascination pour le corps humain. Francien Krieg a exprimé sa pensée durant ces années universitaires avec des installations de viande et des peaux humaines en caoutchouc.
