Szekrény - Régi paneles szekrény. - Tölgy

Mooie en vroege Hollandse panelenkast.
De enige versiering zijn de panelen zelf.
Deze eenvoud was zeer geliefd bij de calvinistische Hollanders.
Tussen 1610 en 1630.
De stijl is duidelijk renaissancistisch en met een calvinistische nijging, niet overdadig, juist ingetogen waardoor we een krachtig geheel zien.

Heel mooi kwartiergezaagd eiken, direct te zien aan de opvallende tekening in het hout.
Die 'getijgerde ' strepen in de nerf noemen we wagenschot.
Wanneer je het hout recht op het hart van de stam zaagt, ( kwartieren) komen de voedselvaten die lopen van het hart naar de stam vrij in beeld.
Bij deze kast zien we een werkelijk prachtig effect in het hout.

Vroege gesmede kaakscharnieren - zie detaifoto's.
De kast staat nog op doorlopende stijlen tot aan de grond, dat is vroeg, pas eind 17de eeuw en in de 18de eeuw komen de bolpoten in de mode.
Mooie panelen ook in de zijkanten.

The only decoration is the panels themselves.
This simplicity was very popular with the Calvinist Dutch.
And it also gives strength to the design.
Between 1610 and 1630.

Very beautiful quarter-sawn oak, immediately recognizable by the striking grain in the wood.
These tiger stripes in the grain are called wainscot.
When you cut the wood straight through the center of the trunk (quartering), the food vessels running from the center to the trunk are exposed.

The cabinet still stands on continuous uprights all the way to the floor, which is early; ball feet only came into fashion at the end of the 17th century and in the 18th century.
Beautiful panels also adorn the sides.
