One Saliva Bubble is a highly imaginative and unconventional project centered on the residents of a small Kansas town who begin switching identities after a bizarre accident involving a security guard’s saliva bubble disrupts a secret government experiment. Conceived as a vehicle for Steve Martin and Martin Short, the script blends surreal humor with high-concept science fiction, showcasing the distinctive creative sensibilities that would later define Lynch and Frost’s work.
