„The Last Bloom” Nik Haku vizuális műve, amely a feladás és az emlékezés közötti törékeny pillanatot tárja fel. A nyugodt víz felszínén egy egyedüli alak a mélyvörös virágot a felszín felett ringatja, megőrizve a jelenlegi áramlást nem érintő egyetlen töredéket. A haj lassan sötétségbe olvad, miközben a fakó bőr felfogja az enyésző fényt, csendes párbeszédet teremtve a tűnés és a odaadás között.

Artist's statement:

Ez a kép arról szól, hogy miért választunk hordozni olyan dolgokat, amikor minden más azt kéri tőlünk, hogy engedjünk el. A virág emlékelemé alakult – valami törékeny, amely nem azért marad fenn, mert védve van, hanem mert szándékkal tartják.
A víz lágyítja minden élt, összezentei a testet a tájjal, addig a identitás önmagát kezdi feloldani. Ami marad, nem a személy, hanem az az érzelem, amit nem akartak a múltba küldeni.

About the artist:

I’m Nik Haku, a visual artist and photographer exploring the space between the real and the altered.
My practice blends multiple techniques —primarily fine art photography, complemented by painting— to construct images that move fluidly between mediums. My work spans portraiture and landscapes, beginning with photographic capture and evolving through painting, AI, and digital manipulation. I aim to create visual worlds where memory, identity, and imagined space overlap, dissolving the boundaries between what is seen and what is felt.
