A well modelled appliqué depicting a female theater mask. Her serene face with large lidded eyes, open mouth and arching brows merging with the bridge of her slender nose, her hair centrally parted and fashioned in cork-screw curls to her sides. A crown decorated with concentric circles on tope of her hairdress. Beautiful example.
Dimensions: 7,70 x 7,00 cm.
Condition. Small bump on the forehead. Otherwise excellent condition.
Provenance: M.F Private Collection, Madrid. Since 1999. Acquired at a Spanish Antiquarian.
