ABOUT THE ARTIST

Carolina Bellachi is a Spanish artist with an international presence. Her career has been recognized within the context of the Great Masters of the 21st and 20th Centuries in a prestigious international contemporary art auction in Italy, where her work was presented in a context that included names such as Picasso, Dalí and Damien Hirst.

Her art has been projected in Times Square, New York, and selected for premium auctions linked to Monopol Art Magazine (Germany). With her own gallery in Madrid and representation in New York, her work has been featured in international publications such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, The World of Interiors, Artribune and ELLE Decoration.

“Cúpulas de Luz Nº 19” belongs to the Cúpulas de Luz collection, a series in which light, depth and matter become vehicles for contemplation.

In this work, an almost ethereal luminosity opens in the upper section and expands across a deep atmosphere of blues and turquoise tones. The transition between light and the more intense areas creates a powerful sense of depth, as though light were slowly passing through the space.

In the lower section, the composition acquires greater movement and material richness. Whites, mineral tones and subtle warm nuances emerge through reliefs, transparencies and multiple layers, creating an organic and vibrant surface.

The glazes and textures allow the perception of the artwork to change subtly depending on the lighting and the angle from which it is viewed.

Rather than representing a specific landscape, Cúpulas de Luz Nº 19 offers an inner experience: a moment of pause in which the viewer is invited to stop, awaken the senses and connect with the present moment.
