Topology III.
Mixed Media, Relief
Hand Signed, Certificate of Authenticity
Framed Size: 30 x 40 x 3 cm

TOPOLOGY: the study of what remains when form changes. This collection begins with a limited vocabulary of forms: circles, squares, surfaces, recesses, and projections. Repeated across the works, these elements enter different spatial relationships, creating structures in which the distinction between object and space is never entirely fixed. A form can appear to sit upon a surface, disappear into it, or emerge from it. A boundary can become an opening; a plane can become a volume. What changes is not always the object itself, but the relationship between its parts.

Gyula TAKÁCS (b. 1990), is a multidisciplinary hungarian artist, graduated architect, and industrial designer, founder of Pilari Helsinki. His motto, “sculpting the essence of change,” is the foundation for all his creations which blends structural thinking with conceptual expression, using both digital and handcrafted techniques. The artist has received international awards and recognitions in design and art, and his artworks have been collected and sold in monre than 20 countries across Europe, Asia, and North America. He has exhibited his work in both solo and group exhibitions in Europe, including Milan, Helsinki, Berlin and Budapest.
