Canvas size: height 49 cm x width 69 cm. Frame size: height 76 cm x width 96 cm. Dating: second half of the 20th century. As shown in pictures, the canvas has a tear of about 2 cm at the bottom, which has been repaired and doesn’t compromise the enjoyability and usability of the work. The folds which are found on the surface of the canvas are due to its poor adherence to the support, and the complimentary frame shows signs of wear due to ageing. The work, of excellent workmanship, and represents a beautiful example, quite original in its depiction of the scene, of the Neapolitan school seashores.
